"Ustashe" Meaning

Ante Pavelić (also known as Ante "Pavelić" or Ante "Ustaše") was a Croatian fascistic politician who became the leader of the fascist Ustaše movement in the 1930s and, after the Nazi Germany's invasion of Yugoslavia in 1941, the Puppet ruler of the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) from 1941–1945. Pavelić continued in this position until he fled the country in 1945.
