Sudoku is a popular puzzle game where a 9x9 grid is divided into nine 3x3 sub-grids or "regions." Some numbers from 1 to 9 are already given in the grid, and the player must fill in the remaining blank cells with numbers from 1 to 9, following certain rules:
- Each number can only be used once in each row.
- Each number can only be used once in each column.
- Each number can only be used once in each 3x3 region.
- A player can only use numbers that have not been used in the same row, column, or region.
Solving a Sudoku puzzle involves using logic and reasoning to figure out which numbers can go in each blank cell.

The term "Sudetenland" refers to a region of Czechoslovakia that was historically inhabited by a majority of mostly German-speaking citizens. During the interwar period, it was an autonomous region within Czechoslovakia, but it was annexed by Nazi Germany in 1938 under the Treaty of Munich, following a plebiscite that showed a large majority of the population supported union with Germany. The annexation was a key step in the buildup to World War II.
