"Linguists" Natural Recordings by Native Speakers
Linguists are experts in the scientific study of language. They analyze the structure, syntax, and semantics of languages, as well as their development, history, and relationships with other languages. Linguists may focus on specific aspects of language, such as phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, or sociolinguistics. They may work in academia, government, industry, or non-profit organizations, and apply their knowledge to improve language teaching, language documentation, language planning, and language technology.
